WiloStar3D Academy high school college preparatory Overview
The WiloStar high school program is designed around an integrated approach to English, science and social studies. The Secondary English and history courses are rigorous multidisciplinary courses. Students spend a total of 150 hours on English lessons and another 150 hours of history within each integrated course. Students complete 3D virtual world and immersive learning projects integrated in our courses, attend live class meetings and study hall and have daily interaction with their instructors. It’s very engaging and immersive!
WiloStar3D high school science and math courses are worth 1 credit, which is the equivalent of 150 hours of instruction.
We organize our curricula according to the recommended sequence of study, but students may substitute courses in a different order provided they are meeting the instructional time needed annually.
All WiloStar3D Interactive Academy students complete a total of 900 clock hours of instruction per school year, or a total of 6 credits.
Credits from other accredited high school programs as well as public high schools will be accepted on an individual basis. All graduating seniors must complete a rigorous individual senior project pulling together all integrated curriculum skills learned during their academic time here at WiloStar3D.
NOTE: Students graduating from our school must complete their entire senior year with us

WiloStar3D Academy is a very interactive type of online program for homeschoolers. Because of this, we have online attendance and live class requirements. A quick summary of the requirements is listed below.
The WiloStar3D high school course curricula is designed around an integrated approach to language arts, science and social studies. As a result, we schedule high school students into two core integrated 1 credit courses a semester. Students then take one .5 elective and work on PE for .5 credit. This allows students to be working on 3 credits per semester for a total of 6 credits per school year. WiloStar3D Interactive Academy students take English and history simultaneously and science and math the following semester. We have had great success with this approach over the last decade and find it very helpful in all aspects of the distance learning experience.
When a student enters our school, we schedule them into either science and math, or English and history and then allow them to choose their electives. If a student wishes to take an outside elective (a non WiloStar elective) we approve that on a case by case basis. We also allow dual enrollment at local community colleges at the junior and senior levels.
If students want to accelerate graduation they may choose to add on electives on an individual basis and pay individual course fees. Individual course fees for one credit vary depending on the course selected. The core WiloStar3D Interactive Academy tuition covers a full 6 credits a year. See the tuition and fee schedule for any extra fees you might expect to pay as part of our program.
Each secondary course has been designed to address specific academic standards drawn from the original Florida Sunshine State Standards.
